Eden Prairie City Council

Dear Eden Prairie Neighbors:

I’ve been a resident of Eden Prairie since the mid 1970’s. In addition to living in Eden Prairie I also work for an Eden Prairie company - Retail Data Systems. It’s a typical small company with about 30 employees involved in the technology industry, working with them for over 25 years.

During the past 30 years of living and working in Eden Prairie I have served on the board of directors of 5 different community organizations including: Eden Prairie Lions, Eden Prairie Foundation, Eden Prairie Crime Prevention Fund, Meals on Wheels of Eden Prairie, Eden Prairie Lions Foundation, as well as the Eden Prairie Community Educational Advisory Committee. I’m dedicated and have the energy and experience to lead this community to enhance the character of Eden Prairie. We have a special place in which we live and work. We need to work together as a community to build upon the special qualities we enjoy.

Why am I running for city council? I want to help lead this city in becoming more effective and more efficient. I want to help tackle tough issues that that will face Eden Prairie in the future and be part of the solution to those issues. I believe it’s the duty of city government to provide essential services and amenities to its citizens. It’s the function of the city council to decide what level of services will be provided with the taxpayer’s money.
